Kanawha Man Pleads Guilty to Killing His Wife The State Journal - News for West Virginia’s Leaders

Here’s another article with more detail: http://www.wchstv.com/newsroom/eyewitness/0701/070116-1.shtml
I apologize for missing this. It’s important. As reported in earlier posts, Trey ilderton murdered his wife Robin in 2005. On January 16, 2007, Ilderton pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to life in prison.

I find it disturbing that he will be up for parole in 15 years. Let’s hope that Robin’s family and friends will be able to attend that parole hearing to help prevent his early release.

May he never again feel a guitar string beneath his fingers; may he never forget the warmth of the woman he so coldly -and senselessly, selfishly- murdered. May he awaken each morning to the stark knowledge of his deed and remember all the people whose lives were changed because of it. Just on my little blog, I have met some of them. I hope there can be healing for you all.
